Constitution (The full Constitution is available on request). Our aims are:
- To promote co-operation between the home and the school
- To organise school and community events in order to raise funds for the school
- To provide opportunities for parents and members of the teaching staff to meet one another
- To enable parents to become better acquainted with the objectives and work of the school
It is agreed that the organisation of the school and all educational methods are the responsibility of the Head Teacher and not of this organisation.
Membership is open to all parents and guardians of the children attending the school. The Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher are also members with equal voting rights.
President and Officers:
The President of the Association is the Head Teacher and the Officers are Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Caterer.
PA Bidding System:
Each term the PA will award £100 to a department for items not covered out of their budget. The bid needs to be in writing and presented to the PA for consideration. Any application needs to receive the approval of both the Committee and President.
How to Contact Us:
The easiest way to contact us is by putting a note in the PA Pigeon Hole situated in the school Reception. We have a Notice Board in the corridor between the Reception and Library where we advertise school events.
How we will Contact You:
We will continue to produce a written Newsletter from time to time, but in line with the School we aim to keep in touch with you via the website. If you wish to receive a paper version, please leave a note in our pigeon hole with your details and those of your child/children and we shall ensure you receive one.
If you are unable to attend our Events but would like to make a donation please contact us through our Pigeon Hole in the Reception.
