Use of Facebook - Message from the Headteacher to Parents/Carers

You may be aware of items in the local and national press concerning a member of staff at Beal High School. This colleague has been suspended whilst we undertake a disciplinary investigation. As this is a disciplinary matter, we can not go into further detail in this notice. The member of staff had already resigned with effect from August 2010 and will not be returning to Beal High School.
We are concerned that there has been ‘Facebook’ activity relating to this situation and we would encourage you to check and discuss this with your child.
Please contact your child’s Head of Year if you have any concerns regarding your child and ‘Facebook’.
